It has been a good start to Wolverine football. The team at print time is 2 and 3, and two of the losses have been by 4 points or less. Wolverines have shown some great character coming from behind several times this year. In their game against the Reivers Wolverines overcame a 20 point deficit, unfortunately couldn't pull out a win after giving up a 80 yard run to the Reivers mid-way through the fourth quarter.
The team is very young this year with many key players in grades 9 and 10, the Wolverines know they will be a very good team for many years. However, with many great leaders and grade 12 players both the players and coaches are excited about stringing together some wins and making a playoff run. Wolverines currently have two games left in their regular season, if they win out they will earn a playoff spot.
